The anniversary of the book by M. Mažvydas celebrated in Australia
The Hearth of the Lithuanian Scouts of Sidney in the Sidney Lithuanian Palace in Bankstown (suburbs of Sidney) had an interesting meeting devoted to the Anniversary of the First Lithuanian Book by Martynas Mažvydas on Sunday, September 7, at 2 p.m.. On the same occasion a new book by Elena Jonaitienė written in English was presented. The book describes the wartime odisseys of Lithuanians. Poet Juozas Almis Juragis and Elena Jonaitienė delivered lectures. Then a concert with the participation of the members of the Hearth and guests followed.
