The first book and its author's remembrance in the arts

  1. Suggest to the Lithuanian theatres that they put on a new production of  the play "Mažvydas" written by Just. Marcinkevičius. 1996 – 1997.
    Responsibility: J. Nekrošius.
    Undertaken by: Lithuanian Ministry of Culture.
  2. Design and issue art posters, commemorative medals and souvenir badges dedicated to the 450th Jubilee of the first Lithuanian book. 1996 – 1997.
    Responsibility: A. Šaltenis.
    Undertaken by: Lithuanian Ministry of Culture, Vilnius Academy of Art.
  3. Design a series of book-plates (ex-libris) dedicated to the 450th Jubilee of the first Lithuanian book, to use these book-plates in the Jubilee publications and any other book printed in 1997. 1996 – 1997.
    Responsibility: A. Šaltenis.
    Undertaken by: Artists Union, Publisher's association, Lithuanian Ex-Libris Club.
  4. Issue a series of postage stamps, envelopes and a special school notebook with a thematic cover dedicated to M. Mažvydas. 1996 – 1997.
    Responsibility: Z. Zinkevičius. A. Šaltenis.
    Undertaken by: Lithuanian Ministry of Communications, Lithuanian Ministry of Science and Education, Vilnius Academy of Art.
  5. Produce a series of postcards titled "Senosios lietuviškos knygos" (Early Lithuanian Books). 1996 – 1997.

    Undertaken by: National M. Mažvydas Library, Vilnius Academy of Art.
  6. Produce a documentary film about the early Lithuanian books. 1996 – 1997.
    Responsibility: J. Nekrošius.
    Undertaken by: Lithuanian Ministry of Culture.
